Isabel Barton started the Geometallurgy program in 2014 as a Research Scientist with the Lowell Institute for Mineral Resources (LIMR). Although she and the program have since moved into the Mining & Geological Engineering department, Isabel maintains strong connections with the LIMR, contributing to short courses and conducting research with geologists, environmental scientists, anthropologists, and other researchers in mineral resources topics.
